Creative Connections Gift Gallery

Creative Connections began in August of 1990 and has been a staple to shoppers who desire to find the fine crafts and unique products not found in conventional stores.

It follows a long line of retail establishments that have occupied the building since its construction in 1855. There is even Graffiti scrolled on the third floor from the Civil War Era. Just to give you an idea of the rich atmosphere you can expect to find at this unique gift gallery.

Previous Building Proprietor Leslie A Nims started as Head Clerk on August 5th, 1892 and purchased the store on April 19, 1919. He eventually sold it on October 1st, 1950. In this photo he is delivering merchandise to local patrons.

Creative Connections offers a mixture of traditional gifts and more unusual items including beautiful creations by local artists.

Donna Slocum, the owner of Creative Connections, has a Gift for Gifts and provides a Free Service in which she will assist the most indecisive shopper in choosing the perfect item for any occasion, as well as gift wrap it for you.
